The PADI Regulator Fundamentals Distinctive Specialty course is designed to help divers become more confident about their air delivery system when diving and become better able to determine when regulators need to be serviced or tuned in additon to the manufacturesr guidelines. In addition, you'll learn interesting background information about how different regulators work, how best to care for them between servicing, how different types of regulators, or different adjustment settings may perform better in different environments and other information that helps you with your regulator equipment investment decisions.

The PADI Regulator Fundamentals Course is not an equipment repair course, but it provides the foundation you’ll want if you’re interested in learning equipment repair.
This certification does not qualify one to service SCUBA regulators. Only the manufacturer can qualify people to service the SCUBA regulators of that manufacturer.
