⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My boyfriend and I did our in pool and class room session else where but wanted to do our dive local. Kris made it so easy for us to get all the info over to him so we could dive with him and his amazing instructors for our open water portion.
Everyone is so helpful, amazing, knowledgeable, and approachable. They were all more then happy to answer any questions we had. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for a amazingly calm and knowledgeable scuba instructor in a more private type of atmosphere. Kris is your man. He is very passionate about his diving and will ensure that all the skills you learn are the correct and the safest ones.  He has spent endless hours teaching me right from my first pool introduction through to some of my specialty certifications I now carry.
I also got to use some of my latest certification skills that Kris had taught me to help assist a group of divers he had brought together to clean up over 240 pounds of garbage out of the Crowe River as a part of Dive Kawartha's support of the Project Aware campaign.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of taking the Self Reliant course with Dive Kawartha. Kris was an awesome instructor! I felt that not only was he checking me for completion of skills but was also making sure that I really understood the material and its application. The way Kris delivered the course also re-enforced the philosophy of Self-Reliant diving at each step along the way which I felt was important.
One of the biggest challenges I have is that no matter how many times I’ve done it or practice it I still end up with a fair bit of anxiety for every course I take. Working with Kris, I found this easy to overcome and progress, Kris was extremely approachable and just by talking to him made a lot of that course anxiety disappear. Throughout the course I also felt really relaxed knowing that if there were things I needed to work on Kris would be there to help.
I would recommend Kris as an instructor anytime!

Kris,Noland and Mike ensured that all new divers had the necessary skills to safely advance in their diving future regardless of skill level and time required. Well maintained rental equipment and knowledgeable professionals to help you out with your gear. Not all courses are equal which is why I'd highly recommend Dive Kawartha!
